On Saturday, 13 March at 8 pm, a concert with Omer Meir Wellber conducting Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 “Pathétique” at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo will be available via stream.

On the occasion of his appointment as Honorary Conductor of the OSM, Kent Nagano returns to Montréal for three concerts on 9, 16 and 23 March.
Swiss composer David Philip Hefti and the Amaryllis Quartett present premiere recordings of three of Hefti’s works for string quartet and soloists on the CD “Light and Shade.” On 18 March, the recording will be released at NEOS; in May the CD will be available on all digital outlets.READ MORE

The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM) is pleased and proud to announce that today, Kent Nagano receives the honorary title of Conductor Emeritus of the Orchestra. Appointed by the Board of Directors, he becomes the third Music Director of the OSM to receive this recognition after Wilfrid Pelletier and Zubin Mehta.

Soprano Sonya Yoncheva will perform a live concert on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 7:00pm CET/1:00pm ET, from the Schussenried Cloister in southwest Germany as part of the Met Stars Live in Concert series. The program features a tour-de-force of arias from Verdi’s Aida and Il Trovatore; Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, La Bohème, and the rarely performed Le Villi; Dvořák’s Rusalka; and Handel’s Rinaldo.
