Dreamstage.live goes Hip Hop (October 2020)

Polo G and Chief Keef announced a partnership with live concert platform DREAMSTAGE for an exclusive concert on Friday, October 23 at 7PM EST. The concert marks a major foray into hip-hop for DREAMSTAGE, the new cross-genre premium platform for ticketed live concerts. For this initial week of sales, as a special superfan pre-order price, tickets are selling for just $14.99. Ticket costs will increase a week from today.

Chicago rapper Chief Keef, a pioneer of Chicago’s drill style rap, was named an icon by Complex with a cult following, receiving massive success since the release of his 2012 debut Finally Rich. While fellow Chicago rapper Polo G was recently named a XXL Magazine 2020 Freshman of the year and Rolling Stone named his 2019 album Die A Legend the top spot on their “20 Best Hip Hop Albums of 2019.”

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestar announces “Front Row: The PSO Virtual Experience” (October 2020)

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra announced that Front Row: The PSO Virtual Experience will premiere on October 19, 2020, with the first of five episodes that will traverse the region and will offer classical music, popular music, and Holiday Pops as the series unfolds. All five episodes will be made available free to the public on the Pittsburgh Symphony’s website: pittsburghsymphony.org.

Midori and Omer Meir Wellber in Palermo (September 2020)

On September 25, violinist Midori and Omer Meir Wellber will present a joint program of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D Major and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in two concerts at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, one at 5 p.m. and one at 9 p.m. (CET). The latter will be livestreamed on Teatro Massimo Web TV. With this concert, Midori begins her Artist in Residence at the Teatro Massimo. A matinée concert will follow on September 26th at 11 a.m. with chamber music works by Bach and Schnittke, together with musicians from the orchestra of the Teatro Massimo and music director Omer Meir Wellber himself at the piano.READ MORE

Special concerts with Kent Nagano and Paul Lewis at the State Opera Hamburg (September 2020)

On 3 and 4 October 2020, Kent Nagano will conduct two special concert programs with works by Mozart, Schubert, Dvořák and others. The British pianist Paul Lewis, one of Britain’s most internationally renowned soloists, will make his debut with the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra. The matinee concerts will take place in the Great House of the Hamburg State Opera. Tickets are available by telephone at (040) 35 68 68 and from the State Opera’s ticket service.
