Midori and Festival Strings Lucerne play Beethoven (July 2021)

After the concert had to be postponed several times, the concert with Midori and the Festival Strings Lucerne can now take place on 1 July 2021 at the KKL in Lucerne.

The concert was originally going to take place in March 2020, but was the first event that had to be cancelled in Switzerland due to the pandemic. Fortunately, a CD with the program was recorded without and released by Warner Classics in October 2020.

After long months without concerts or with only low attendance, the concert on 1 July will be the first in Switzerland with more than 1,000 people in the audience. The program includes Beethoven’s Violin Concerto and his Fourth Symphony.
