Kent Nagano starts his new position in Hamburg (September 2015)
On Sunday, 13 September in Hamburg, Kent Nagano will conduct his first Akademiekonzert in the church St. Michaelis („Michel“) with the Chamber Orchester of the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra. It will be his first concert within his new position: Kent Nagano is the new Hamburg General Music Director of the State Opera and Chiefconductor of the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra.

On Saturday, 19 September Kent Nagano will conduct his first Opera premiere: Berlioz‘ Les Troyens, brought on stage by German director Michael Thalheimer.
