Conductor Laureate Herbert Blomstedt gives concert at San Francisco Symphony Orchestra (February 2017)
In the beginning of February Herbert Blomstedt as Conductor Laureate is guest at the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra for several concerts. In July 2017 he will celebrate his 90. birthday.
Together with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus they will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 from 1 – 3 February and on 5 February.

From 9 – 12 February he will again stand at the rostrum of the orchestra and will perform Brahms’ Symphony No. 3 and Beethoven’s Piano Concert No. 4 with pianist Yefim Bronfman.
