Jan Vogler – Commemorative event to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War (August 2014)

Cellist Jan Vogler will perform a Bach solo piece at a commemorative event to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
The official event at the St. Symphorien military cemetary in Mons/Belgium on 4 August will be attended by Germany’s president Joachim Gauck, Britain’s prime minister David Cameron, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry of Wales, among others.
