On 29 November 2016 Unitel will release the new DVD production of Mefistofele of the Bavarian State Opera with René Pape (titlerole) and Omer Meir Wellber on the rostrum of Bavarian State Orchestra.

The new production was the first premiere in season 2015/16, staged by Roland Schwab.
