David Philip Hefti conducts two of his own works at Les Jardins Musicaux (August 2017)

On Saturday, 26 August 2017 David Philip Hefti will conduct the Academy of the Symphony Orchestra Biel Solothurn in two of his own works at the Swiss festival Les Jardins Musicaux in Cernier. The concert will be recorded by RTS Espace 2.

On the evening of 5 August 2017, David Philip Hefti’s song cycle for baritone and piano “E las culurs dals tuns” (on Romansh texts by Bibi Vaplan) will celebrate its world premiere at the Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker with Peter Schöne, baritone and Axel Bauni, piano.

This Friday, June 9, 2017, the Mannheimer Gesellschaft für Neue Musik presents works by David Philip Hefti in a Portrait Concert in the gallery Zeitraumexit . The Amaryllis-Quartett plays together with Clarinetist Nikolaus Friedrich Hefti’s string quartet no. 1 “Ph(r)asen”, mourning music for basset clarinet and string quartet “Danse interstellaire” and string quartet no. 4 “con fuoco”.
