German cellist Jan Vogler and conductor Manfred Honeck will be guest at the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin on 10 January 2018 in the Philharmonie Berlin. Jan Vogler will perform the world premiere of Dai Fujikura’s cello concerto.
Further works by Debussy and Beethoven will be on the program.

The International Classical Music Award (ICMA) has nominated the most current CD by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Manfred Honeck with Shostakovich’s 5. Symphony and Barber’s Adagio for the award ceremony in 2018.

Conductor Manfred Honeck, Music Director of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, will conduct the Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra WDR on 12, 13 and 14 October in Essen (12 October) and in Cologne (13 & 14 October).
On the programm will be Beethoven’s Piano concert No. 1, performed by Paul Lewis as well as Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9.

On 28 August 2017 the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and their Music Director Manfred Honeck celebrated the start of this year’s Europe festival tour at the Rheingau Musik Festival in Wiesbaden.
Until 8 September they will further be guests at the Salzburg Festival, the BBC Proms in London, at Lucerne Festival etc.
