Radio broadcast: Jan Vogler & Manfred Honeck together in concert (January 2018)

On Sunday, 21 January 2018 at 21:05 the concert with cellist Jan Vogler, conductor Manfred Honeck and Deutsches Symphony Orchestra Berlin (from 10 January 2018) at Berlin Philharmonie will be broadcast at Deutschlandfunk.

Among others, the world premiere of Daj Fujikura’s cello concerto was on the program.

Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends: USA Tour with “New worlds” (November 2017)

Cellist Jan Vogler is touring again through the USA, together with Hollywood actor Bill Murray: As „Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends“ they are presenting the program of their new CD “New worlds“ (Decca, September 2017), among others in Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Jan Vogler in Zurich (November 2017)

Cellist Jan Vogler will be guest in Zurich in a couple of days – on 12 November he will play Dvořák’s cello concerto op. 104 together with Philharmonia Zurich and conducted by Fabio Luisi in the Zurich Opera house.

Jan Vogler as Artist in Residence at the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (October 2017)

In season 2017/18 cellist Jan Vogler is Artist in Residence at the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. As such he will give the first concerts in the beginning of November. Together with violinist Mira Wang he will perform concerts in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, among others with Harbison’s Double concerto for violin and violoncello.

Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends: USA Tour with “New worlds” (October 2017)

Cellist Jan Vogler is currently touring through the USA, together with Hollywood actor Bill Murray: As „Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends“ they are presenting the program of their new CD “New worlds“ (Decca, September 2017), among others in Santa Barbara, Palm Desert and Chicago.  Tour final of this October tour will be in Carnegie Hall, New York on 16 October.

Jan Vogler in London (September 2017)

On 27 September, German cellist Jan Vogler will have his London orchestral debut with Britten’s Symphony for Cello and Orchestra in the Royal Festival Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Vladimir Jurowski.

Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends are guest in Hamburg (September 2017)

With their current CD program “Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends” will be guest in the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg on Friday, 8 September. You can get tickets for this concert here.

The new CD “New worlds” by “Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends” will be released by Decca Gold on 29 September.
