Pablo Heras-Casado makes his debut with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra Munich on 26 January replacing John Eliot Gardiner. In two concerts on 26 and 27 January he will conduct Schumann’s “Manfred Ouverture”, “Symphonie concertante for piano and orchestra” by Szymanowski, featuring pianist Emanuel Ax and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3. The concert on 27 January will be broadcast live on BR Klassik. The orchestra and Pablo Heras-Casado will then be guest at the Mozartwoche in Salzburg on 29 January with works by Mozart and Schumann.
