Beginning in 2005-2006, The Takács Quartet has been named Associate Artists of London's South Bank Centre. They will replace the Alban Berg Quartet, Associate Artists there since 1987. The Takacs Quartet will be an important contributer to the South Bank Centre's International Chamber Music Season.
