On 14 June 2012, Jan Vogler and will join pianist Hélène Grimaud for a unique recital at Bedford Post - the luxurious inn and restaurant owned by actor and environmental activist, Richard Gere - in Bedford, NY. Over 100 people are expected to attend this exclusive and elegant event, which will benefit wolf conservation.
The concert with repertoire featuring selections from Schumann, Brahms, Debussy and Shostakovich, along with an appearance from ambassador wolf Atka, will be webcast live. All proceeds from the recital and live webcast will go directly to the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, NY. Founded by Grimaud over a decade ago, the WCC is committed to conservation, education and species survival.
